MINI GRANTS

Education Foundation Teacher Mini Grant

Applications will be accepted from February 1 through February 28. Please complete the application online and any additional supporting documents should be emailed to Stephanie Hudson at Stephanie.Hudson@TwinFallsSchoolFoundation.com.

Applications will be reviewed during the month of March. All applicants will be notified in April regarding who will receive funding. Funding will be made available after August 1, 2021 and must be spent by January 31, 2023.

There is a portion of funding designated for music education, while another portion is for general use. Music Education applications will be considered for music classes and general education classes, as we understand that music crosses a wide span of subject areas and age levels.

The scoring rubric will focus on three areas:

  • Innovation
  • Educational Enrichment
    • Grants in this category should enrich the student experience or enhance the classroom atmosphere, ultimately to foster a better learning environment for students.
  • Pilot Ideas
    • This category would focus on ideas or projects that you feel could help students in some capacity. This would be a way to jumpstart an idea that you would like to spreadhead in your classroom/school for the benefit of students.

As always, the focus will be on requests that are NOT covered by district building and maintenance funds, all requests must be student focused.

Teams, departments, and entire buildings can apply for group funding.

Funding is available, up to $1,000 per application and only one application can be submitted per teacher.

All applications will be scored using the rubric found on the TFSDEF website at http://twinfallsschoolfoundation.com

In addition, those receiving grants will be required to submit a grant report after their funds are spent.  If the grant report is not returned, you would not be able to apply for a Mini Grant in the next cycle.

TFSD policies for purchasing must be followed for teachers using these grant funds.  Any quotes in applications should come from district approved vendors.
